We can provide the motivation, the inspiration, the skills, the encouragement but you need to go out there and put all those tools to use. We will be backing you all the way!!

With 80% of our classes now full we only have a small number of classes with spaces, if you've been meaning to message don't leave it to late!

At JD we have a number of events that every dancer At JD we have a number of events that every dancer at JD can be a part of, this year we have 2! It's only right we celebrate in style as we are 20 years old!!! 20 years of teaching and we now have our past students bringing their children to us! We kick off our events with JD your way on the 29th November for all JD students and then in July we will take to the grand theatre stage for our big show! The fun doesn't stop as then you can get a copy of the dvd and have a full movie night staring your own children! Creating memories, opportunities and building up your children's confidence in the process!

20 years of teaching, 38 years of dancing, 20 year 20 years of teaching, 38 years of dancing, 20 years of being a parent. The dancing school is all my children have known but I always have tried to lead by example and show them that you have to work hard to get results. Young people need our guidance. They do have to share me with the other kids as I treat all my students the same as I would my own children. I feel very passionate about motivating young people to always push for the best, work hard, work harder, be creative, individual and go for your goals. It feels it's getting harder to do this but then that creates even more determination from me to push not just my children but yours to do their best โค๏ธ

Still not over this summer, we are on week 3 of th Still not over this summer, we are on week 3 of the new term and already working on some fab ideas and training is going IN! We've had workshops with industry professionals, learnt a whole routine for can you dance main stage, started new team sets, mixed 202020 pieces of music and studied lots of different street dance styles whilst making a big start on our huge 20 year anniversary competition! For 3 weeks in that's not bad!
The secret? The music!!! The music comes first the The secret? The music!!! The music comes first the steps, the energy, the vibe that comes after. Musicality is key, good music choices when putting a set together is key, music will inspire you, motivate and take you to new places. We spend HOURS, WEEKS, MONTHS searching for the right music for our sets. So when you see our dancers in their next 2 minute performance remember the hours of work that has gone into it before we've only started teaching the steps ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

JD.. YOUR WAY! We are celebrating 20 years of JD t JD.. YOUR WAY! We are celebrating 20 years of JD this year so we couldn't just sit and wait till our 2026 show.... lets throw another in there! This event is for everyone in JD, all dancers will be learning a routine to perform but this is a show with a twist... we will also have judges who will pick their top 3 winners from each age category! There will be a chance to also enter our talent show section of the show where you can create your own routine, with the winner gaining a spot in our 2026 show at the Grand theatre. We have been telling the dancers about this all week and excitement is building! sign up forms and full info being sent out today via email please note- all Jd dancers are involved in this, dancers in year 11 and below need to have a parent or guardian with them.
Last year I posted the annual back to school photo Last year I posted the annual back to school photo with a moody looking Darci as I sent her to school in her old school shoes that were two sizes to small for her ๐Ÿ˜‚ it was the most liked post of the whole year! Forget the world champs ๐Ÿ˜‚ so unfortunately I have sorted my act out this year and schools shoes and new uniform all sorted! Are they happy? Darci isn't!! Her skirt is apparently too long ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ And a big happy birthday to Darci! 9 today!
